Email Games

[working on emails with the email game]

I have seen twittering peeps rant and rave about the size of their inbox. I always smile when I see this, because I have found myself a solution that seems to bring my Inbox to a beautiful, round zero!

Don't just take my word for it. Time Magazine added The Email Game to their 50 Best Websites list.

The game is simple, really. You provide your e-mail and password then you are led to a page similar to the photo above. You have a certain number of e-mails you tackle and a certain number of minutes for each one.  The amount of time allotted to you is dependent on the size of the e-mail. You have the option to skip a message, or boomerang it, though I do not like to do those necessarily.

I tackle about 50 emails everyday, all within the span of 30 minutes. Great? Awesome!

The beauty of The Email Game lies in the fact that your window is cleared up of other e-mails. You get to focus on one, and do it with fun.

Have you tried The Email Game? Do you know of a resource similar to it?
